The single room here has a very clean bed, large windows, a writing desk, and thick blackout curtains, and it's only 1 km away from London Heathrow airport.

This was my very good stay on holiday. Everything was fine, very very helpful staff, beautiful views of the mountain and the lake. I had the double room and it was well-kept. The location of the property was excellent, right next to the sea. Liked that it was set near the town square, the lake and mountains and transport links and walks, as well as boat trips❤❤😀

The Schwann met with expectataions, the location was brilliant, the room was modern, clean and of a decent size, breakfast was good as was the food generally. We would definately recommend and possibly return to this hotel

This place has a fantastic location right across from the lake, and there are some nice restaurants nearby. the breakfast selection is quite good, featuring tasty pastries and fresh fruit. 🍏.

Nice location, in central area of town and right on the lake. Excellent fish meal at the adjoining restaurant.

Rooms were clean, but the entire hotel had a "has-been", dated feel--perhaps the whole town feels that way.

Seehotel Schwan in Gmunden served as a fantastic base for exploring the beautiful surroundings. It is conveniently located near transport links, scenic walks, and boat trips. I stayed in a spacious and well-kept superior king room that offered a tremendous view over the water. the hotel is close to the old town hall and the boat jetty, enhancing the overall experience.

I really appreciated the very friendly and helpful service we received from the front desk staff -they were terrific. I should remember the couples' names and their dog but sadly I have forgotten !I also liked the breakfast and the food in general and the lovely indoor and outdoor dining area. My room was upgraded to a suite with a balcony and I couldn't have been more comfortable. I would love to return there someday.

Located right down at the lake shore it provided an ideal place to start exploring the town of Gmunden, The staff were friendly and helpful

Spectacular view of Traunsee lake and mountains. Greate location on the town square and it's only 40 minutes drive to Salzburg. It has Free Wi-Fi. Free parking at the back of the hotel but you have to move your car by 10 am.

We got to the restaurant for the buffet breakfast a few minutes before 11. The staff were not so happy and our German speaking friend could understand their comments about us. I understand why they were not happy but as a staff it's not nice to comment about customers.

I chose this hotel for attending a meeting and was impressed by their state-of-the-art seminar rooms. The rooms, measuring 50 and 70 m2, were equipped with all the necessary technical equipment and provided a pleasant and constructive work environment. Additionally, the rooms were filled with natural daylight, enhancing the overall experience.

The only downside was the lack of a dedicated business center. As a businessman, I would have appreciated a separate area with computers and printers to facilitate work-related tasks.
